Medical and insurance organizations want AI to read documents and answer questions from health data, but that data is sensitive, so many are reluctant to send it to outside AI services for processing. And most AI services charge per user per month, so costs grow with every person who uses them.
What Asgard does
Each machine is set up for one organization, with either the medical or the insurance workload set. Same price either way.
AI assistants by specialty
Summarizes medical records, drafts notes and answers clinical questions by specialty, such as internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, emergency medicine, pharmacy and nursing. Physicians still make the decisions.
Reads Thai documents
Extracts data from medical certificates, lab results and scanned documents into data you can search and reuse.
Medical knowledge base
Searches across clinical practice guidelines and internal documents, citing the source in every answer.
Standard codes
Supports ICD-10, LOINC, TMT and SNOMED CT to keep coding consistent.
FHIR data
Exchanges data using the HL7 FHIR standard to connect with hospital systems (integration work is quoted separately).
Audit log
Records who accessed what and when, and alerts on unusual security events.
Packages and pricing
Every tier runs the same software; only the machine’s power differs. The first-year price includes the Mac, a perpetual Asgard license for that machine, installation and first-year maintenance. From year 2 you pay only the annual maintenance fee (MA).

Assumptions and sources
Main model on every tier: Gemma 4 26B-A4B, 4-bit (a mixture-of-experts model with about 4B active parameters per token), running locally with MLX
“Concurrent requests” is how many requests the AI answers at once while each person still gets at least 15 tokens per second (about 3× human reading speed)
“Users across the organization” assumes about 10% of users send requests at the same time at peak, following NVIDIA’s sizing guidelines
One question: about 2,000 input tokens including reference documents, and an answer of about 250 tokens
One 10-page document: OCR at about 0.56 seconds per page as we measured on a previous-generation Mac mini, about 1,000 tokens per page of Thai text, and about 500 tokens of extracted output
Documents per hour are discounted to 70% efficiency to leave room for other system work, and assume the machine runs one kind of work. Running Q&A and document reading together lowers each figure
There are no public 4-bit benchmarks of this model on the Ultra yet; its figures are extrapolated from M5 Max and M3 Ultra results

The main AI model is an open-weight model (Gemma 4 26B-A4B, 4-bit) running with MLX on the Apple chip in the machine. Text is not sent to an outside AI provider for processing.
Thai documents are read with on-device OCR at about 0.56 seconds per page (measured on a previous-generation Mac mini), then extracted into structured data you can search and reuse.
Answers come from your organization’s documents and knowledge base, with sources cited. Supports ICD-10, LOINC, TMT and SNOMED CT codes, and HL7 FHIR data exchange.

On the machine installed in your organization. The AI models process data on that machine, which lowers the risk of data leaving your organization or the country. Other PDPA obligations, such as consent and data-subject rights, remain your organization’s policy; our team helps configure the system to match.
Does it need a constant internet connection?
No. Core work runs on your internal network. It connects to the internet only for updates or remote support, which your organization can switch on and off.
How many users can it support at once?
User accounts are unlimited. Our estimates: the Mini handles 8 concurrent requests (suits about 80 users), the Studio 16 (about 160 users) and the Studio Ultra 24 (about 240 users). Real figures depend on the kind of work — short Q&A and reading multi-page documents use very different amounts of compute. Our team measures against your real workload before recommending a model, and you can upgrade if your work outgrows the machine.
Can we upgrade later?
Yes. You pay the license difference between the two models plus the new machine. Our team migrates your data and settings, and the old machine can serve as a backup or be used for other work.
What if the machine breaks?
The machine comes with Apple’s one-year warranty, and you can add AppleCare. During the MA term, our team coordinates repairs and restores your data from the latest backup.
How do Thai government agencies buy it?
The Mini’s first-year price including VAT is no more than THB 500,000, which is within the limit for the specific (direct) procurement method under the ministerial regulation issued under the Public Procurement and Supplies Administration Act B.E. 2560 (2017). Our team prepares the specification (TOR) and the quotation. Add-ons such as AppleCare or system integration are quoted separately. The other models follow the usual procurement method for their value.
